Annie made the move to California at 17 from Virginia, and after settling on the north coast near Santa Cruz, she found the place that has felt like her true home. She has traveled to (almost) every single state (she would love to book a wedding in Hawaii or Alaska to make her list complete!) and although she has roots in and loves so many parts of the country - she is always excited to get back to the slice of land she has called home for the last 7 years. A vast canyon in the old growth redwoods of the hills above Davenport - they have seen each other through many phases of life and she is now enjoying the regrowth and fresh starts the land has to offer her.

Annie was led to tintypes through a rabbit hole of love for all things analog- drawn to antiques and a less modern approach to life than most. She has lived in almost every form of dwelling with and without wheels you can think of - Annie has always had a particular penchant for analog photography, leading her to securing a degree in the subject in Southern California. Post college, through a series of happenstance as is so often the case - Annie was led into the wedding world which eventually was the reason for her landing in Davenport.

She spends most all of her time with her heeler pup Roux, and enjoys a lifestyle that allows her to travel year round to various weddings or tintype gigs across the country. Transferring skills and approach throughout both digital and analog, Annie weaves together stories big and small through the capture of above all else- connection.
